The Decline of Middle-Income Neighborhoods in Metropolitan America, a new report from the Brookings Institution, analyzes census data and finds that middle-income neighborhoods in metropolitan areas are disappearing faster than middle-income families, suggesting increased disparities between neighborhoods.
