Care and coverage disparities for minorities

A new report from the Commonwealth Fund finds that Hispanics and African Americans are more likely to lack health insurance, and that Hispanics are particularly likely to be disconnected from the health care system. The report, Health Care Disconnect: Gaps in Coverage and Care for Minority Adults: Findings from the Commonwealth Fund Biennial Health Insurance Survey (2005), is available on the Commonwealth Fund Web site.
