The HRS 2004 Final Version 1.0 acquired 9/7/2006 is now available in the PRI HRS SodaPop Collection.

The NHANES 2001-2002 SodaPop Collection has been updated to include the files acquired 9/7/06.

The NHANES 2003-2004 SodaPop Collection has been updated to include the files acquired 9/7/06.

The Annual Report to the Nation on the Status of Cancer, 1975-2003, Featuring Cancer among U.S. Hispanic/Latino Populations was produced by the American Cancer Society, the National Cancer Institute, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the North American Association of Central Cancer Registries. The report provides an annual update on cancer incidence and trends.

Girl Power: Girls’ Education, Sexual Behaviour and AIDS in Africa(PDF), a new report from ActionAid, finds that girls with more education are more likely to wait to have sex and more likely to use a condom when they do, and thus are less likely to contract HIV.

This NCES report examines the use of computers and the Internet by American children enrolled in nursery school and students in kindergarten through grade 12.
