The NICHD Study of Early Child Care and Youth Development (SECCYD): Findings for Children up to Age 4 1/2 Years compiles findings published in journals such as Applied Developmental Science, Child Development, Developmental Psychology, and the Early Childhood Research Quarterly from 1999 through 2003.

The Maturing of America: Getting Communities on Track for an Aging Population (PDF) reports on the first phase of a project led by the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging. Less than half of 10,000 local governments surveyed for the project have begun to address the expected explosion of the aging population. The report presents survey findings as well as recommendations for communities.
