Baby boomers faring poorly as they approach retirement
Posted March 5th, 2007 by Tara Murray in Aging, HRSA new study of Health and Retirement Survey (HRS) data has found that baby boomers approaching retirement age report poorer health, more pain, and more difficulty doing everyday physical tasks than their predecessors, according to a National Institute on Aging (NIA) press release. The findings are presented in National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) Working Paper No. 12762.
