Change in Percentage of Families Offered Coverage at Work, 1998-2005, a new issue brief from the Kaiser Family Foundation, uses National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) data to assess changes in the percentage of families with at least one offer of employer-sponsored coverage.

Americans not growing as fast in height

Americans used to be the tallest people in the world, but have been falling behind other nations since World War II. The Associated Press talked to scholars in demography and economics about the possible causes and implications of this trend (AP via Centre Daily Times).
