Children who completed early childhood program show gains in adulthood
Posted August 22nd, 2007 by Tara Murray in Education, Health, Poverty and Income InequalityA study that followed children from ages 3 and 4 to age 24 found that those who completed an early childhood program showed higher educational attainment, lower rates of serious crime and incarceration, and lower rates of depressive symptoms as young adults than non-participants (National Institute of Child Health and Human Development press release).
