NIH Public Access Policy
Posted January 14th, 2008 by Tara Murray in Funding NewsThe National Institutes of Health (NIH) has revised its Public Access Policy in accordance with a new law that requires researchers funded by NIH to deposit their final, peer-reviewed manuscripts with PubMed Central.
The new NIH Public Access Homepage provides guidance for complying with the new requirement. Authors should make sure that any copyright transfer or publication agreements they sign allow for the article to be submitted to NIH in accordance with the policy.
