NIH Public Access Policy: Nature will deposit for free, APA will charge
Posted July 16th, 2008 by Tara Murray in Funding NewsTwo major publishers have new policies relating to the NIH Public Access Policy, according to the Chronicle of Higher Education.
The Nature Publishing Group (including the journal Nature) has announced that it will deposit its authors’ manuscripts in PubMed Central for free with a 6-month embargo period.
The American Psychological Association will also deposit papers in PubMed Central - for a $2,500 fee, according to the Chronicle of Higher Education’s News Blog.
