The NCES has announced the release of the 2005-2006 CCD Public Elementary/Secondary School Universe and the Local Education Agency (School District) Universe Survey Data. PRI researchers may request this data from the Data Archivist.

The NCES has announced the release of version 1c for the 2004-2005 CCD Local Education Agency data. PRI researchers may request this update from the Data Archivist.

NCHS has announced that the NHANES data set has added supplement records collected in the prescription medications section of the Sample Person questionnaire. These include prescription supplements and other items later determined to be supplements. The Questionnaire files have been updated on SodaPop and PopNet.

NCHS has announced that because of quality control issues, LBXHBS (antibody to hepatitis B surface antigen) has been removed from the NHANES Hepatitis data for years 1999-2004. This variable will be released after these issues have been resolved. The data on SodaPop and PopNet now have the LBXHBS variable removed.

The NCHS has announced the release of the 2006 NHIS data set. This data is available on SodaPop and PopNet.

ICPSR has released the 1972-2006 Cumulative GSS file. Penn State researchers can now access the data on SodaPop or PopNet.

HRS has announced the release of the Version “G” RAND File. The file contains HRS data from 1992-2004. This file replaces the old RAND merged file on SodaPop. Version G has 348 new variables, but has dropped 88 variables from the previous release. This data is also available on PopNet.

SIPP 2004 Panel just released the Wave 3 Core data files which are now available on SodaPop and PopNet.
