NCHS has released the following NHANES data updates:

Lab 02 - hepatitis B and D were added to the existing data for 2003-2004, 2001-2002 and 1999-2000. This data is now available in SodaPop and PopNet.

Food Security (2003-2004) is now available in SodaPop and PopNet.

Dietary Supplement Use (2003-2004) were updated to add supplement records collected in the prescription medications section of the SP questionnaire. This data is available on SodaPop and PopNet.

The HRS has just released the Master ID file which will simplify the process of merging HRS files. For more information about this file, see the HRS webiste.

This file is now available on SodaPop and PopNet.

The PSID has just announced the release of the 2005 Family Files. These data are available to the Penn State Research Community on SodaPop and PopNet.

If you are interested in this data, but are not part of Penn State, you can download the files from PSID.

NCHS has released the following 2003-2004 NHANES Laboratory data sets:

Lab 39 - Selenium data has been added to the existing data. This data is now available in SodaPop and PopNet.
Lab 43 - Vitamin B6 (PDF documentation)

PRI Affiliates may request the Lab 43 data from the Data Archivist.

The NHANES Social Support (PDF) Questionnaire files for 2003-2004 are now available on SodaPop and PopNet.

The NHANES Dietary Supplement Use (PDF) Questionnaire files for 2003-2004 are now available on SodaPop and PopNet.

The MEPS 2004 Full Year Consolidated data file, documentation and codebook files have been updated and are now available to Penn State Researchers in SodaPop and PopNet. These files reflect the revisions in the family weight variables FAMWT04F and FAMWT04C.
