The American Housing Survey (AHS) 2005 national file data and documentation are now available on SodaPop.

The AHS 2003 National data file has been re-released by the Census Bureau/HUD (incorrect weights used for file - preliminary rather than final). The data file is the only file affected, documentation is unchanged. The new data file is available as a SAS transport file on PopNet UNIX and has been added to the PRI AHS SodaPop Collection, replacing the previous version containing the incorrect weights.

The updated AHS 2004 Metro data file has been added to SodaPop, replacing the previous version.

The AHS Metro 2004 data has been updated. A new version of the data file became available in early November. The codebook and instrument files have not changed. The new data file was downloaded and added to PopNet UNIX (previous version still available if needed). In addtion, two new sets of files not included in the collection previously have been added: A set of ASCII data files in /home/data/ahs/2004/data_ascii (*.txt format) and a set of Descriptive Statistics in /home/data/ahs/2004/AHSDSC2004 (also *.txt format). The 2004 data is being prepared for SodaPop and will soon replace the existing files in the SodaPop Collection.
