This report contains data from the CCD non-fiscal 2003-04 state, local education agency, and school surveys. The report presents data about the students enrolled in public education, including the number of students by grade and the number receiving special education, migrant, or English language learner services.

The newly acquired CCD data files have been prepared for the CCD SodaPop Collection. The collection is now comprehensive from 1995/1996 - 2003/2004.

The Common Core of Data (CCD) collection on PopNet UNIX has been augmented with several years of data as part of collection development.

Public Elementary/Secondary School Universe Survey:
1996-1997, 1997-1998, 1998-1999, 1999-2000, and 2003-2004

and

Local Education Agency (School District Universe) Survey:
1995-1996, 1996-1997, 1997-1998, and 2003-2004

Please note that the later years of the surveys (97+) include SAS data files. Some programming skills will be required to use the record layout for the earlier years of data. The data will be prepared and added to SodaPop to complete the collection.
