Data for the 2004 Malawi Demographic and Health Survey are now available for download to all registered users with access to Malawi datasets. MEASURE DHS makes this and all unrestricted survey data files, available for legitimate academic research.

The Key Indicators Survey (KIS), a new tool from MEASURE DHS, is designed to collect population-based data comparable to the Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) for sub-national areas. The tool includes six questionnaires and guidance manuals.

An analysis of Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) data from 18 African countries shows that more African women are using condoms (kaisernetwork.org Daily HIV/AIDS Report). The study is published in the November 18 issue of the Lancet.
