Living Arrangements of Children: 2004 (PDF) is the latest report in the Household Economic Studies series of the Census Bureau’s Current Population Reports (P70-114). It uses SIPP data to examine the variety of living arrangements of US children.

The PRI Library has received announcement of an advanced users seminar for ECLS-K (Early Childhood Longitudinal Study, Kindergarten Class of 1998-99).

The PRI Library has received announcement of a workshop/conference for beginning and intermediate users of the NHIS to be held August 14, 2008.

The PRI Library had received announcement of two Associate Service Fellowship positions with the NSFG in Hyattsville, Maryland.

The SodaPop pages for the Health and Retirement Study (HRS) have been reorganized to accommodate the increasing number of files in the study. A download page has been created for each wave/year of data.

The HRS data sets on POPNET and the Windows server Paris, have also been reorganized. The SAS data sets have been moved from a single directory (/home/sas_data/hrs) to subdirectories (hrs1992, hrs1994, etc). The Rand and master files have been moved to the hrsxtra subdirectory.

The 2005-2006 CCD Public Elementary/Secondary School Universe and the Local Education Agency (School District) Universe Survey Data are now available on SodaPop and PopNet.
