The PRI Data Archive has acquired the Uniform Crime Reporting Program Data: County-Level Detailed Arrest and Offense Data for 2004. The data and documentation files are currently accessible only in the PopNet UNIX Archive, but will be made available for extraction (Penn State and APC Member Center affiliates only) via SodaPop in the near future.

The UCR County-Level Detailed Arrest and Offense files announced Jan. 27 have been prepared and added to the UCR SodaPop Collection.

The UCR County-Level Detailed Arrest and Offense Data collection on PopNet UNIX has been updated with revised versions of existing and completely new years of data.

Data for 1999 and 2000 (available previously on UNIX and in SodaPop) were re-released due to the Miami-Dade county code changing from 025 to 086 in the data (to match the documentation).

Data for 2001 and 2002 (available in SodaPop but not on UNIX) were also re-released for this same reason.

Data for 2003 is a completely new addition to the PRI Data Archive Collection.

All of the files above will be prepared for and made available in SodaPop as soon as it is possible. In the interim, for users who wish to access these files on UNIX, see the UCR Raw Data Web Page for file path information.

The UCR Arrests and Offenses data and documentation from 1977 through 1984 have been added to the SodaPop UCR Collection. These data were initially only accessible through the PopNet UNIX archive.

The Uniform Crime Reports SodaPop collection now has data available for 1986, 2001, and 2002. These years of data were added to close gaps that were existing in the existing collection.

UCR Supplemental Homicide Reports 2003 is the latest wave of the UCR Supplemental Homicide data series. The data, documentation, and input files were downloaded from ICPSR and added to PopNet and the UCR SodaPop Collection.
